Freedom Cry, the single-player downloadable content story for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, is now available for download. To celebrate its release, here's a new trailer that gives you a taste of what's in store.

The DLC drops today and will feature over four hours of extra gameplay starring Edward Kenway's first mate, Adewale. This adventure will take place 15 years after the events of the game proper, so keep in mind that the trailer may hold some spoilers.

As Adewale, you'll help free the slaves of Port-au-Prince after getting shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue. If you've purchased the Season Pass, then all you have to do to access this DLC is download it. If not, then you can still purchase it separately and get started on liberating the people of Port-au-Prince. Watch the trailer above to see a bit of the emotionally-charged narrative and the swashbuckling action.
