Batman: Arkham Origins Trailer: Deathstroke Comes to Gotham

The first teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins has arrived. It's got Batman. It's got Deathstroke. It's got close-combat. Why aren't you watching it yet?

Due out on October 25th, Batman: Arkham Origins is the third game in the popular Arkham franchise. Instead of following the story of Arkham City, Origins will be a prequel set during Batman's earliest days behind the cowl. Gotham will be bigger, and it won't be as run down. However, a new crop of criminal is in town, and Batman will be facing one of the toughest challenges of his early career.

Deathstroke is one of the most skilled adversaries in the DC Universe. A fully-trained assassin capable of going toe-to-toe with nearly any hero on the planet, Deathstroke will be a more than formidable foe for the young Batman. This teaser only offers a small portion of the full battle, which will be revealed on May 20th in a longer trailer. Even though this is a rendered cut scene, it will still be cool to watch Bats duke it out with Deathstroke. Hopefully the full game will live up to the high bar set by Rocksteady's first two games. We'll just have to wait until October to find out.
