The next pieces of downloadable content for Borderlands 2 will be making their way to us soon. In fact, they'll be right in time to add a little seasonal flair to Halloween.

An article on DigitalTrends gives a first look at the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge and TK Baha's Bloody Harvest. The Digistruct Peak Challenge will raise the level cap to 72, letting players get even more powerful. At the same time, it will also introduce a new area and mission that will help Vault Hunters play around with the new Overpower levels.

Overpower levels are effectively difficulties that go past the cap of 72, letting you take on bigger, badder monsters that are harder to kill. But, as an added incentive to kill these creatures, you'll also get better loot. And while your skills cap at 72, you'll be able to equip gear of higher levels.

Digistruct Peak Challenge will be released on Sept. 3. Shortly after that will be TK Baha's Bloody Harvest, which is to be released in October, right in time for Halloween. This DLC is the first part of three "Headhunter" packs that task you with defeating a boss and then grabbing its head as part of your wearable collection. Bloody Harvest will be a "single, medium-sized environment that's been built around a fetch mission and the aforementioned boss fight, in this case with the Pumpkin Kingpin." In the spirit of Halloween, enemies in Bloody Harvest will drop colorful pieces of candy that can provide buffs for players. Sounds like fun, eh?

Look out for these DLC packs when they're released in the coming months. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the additional content coming down the chute for Borderlands 2. Love it? Hate it? Sound off!
