An ominous teaser video for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was posted by Treyarch on Wednesday, which hinted at a new batch of downloadable content for the franchise's Zombie mode.

Nobody expected Treyarch to have more DLC for Black Ops 2. With the next iteration in the series due out in a short few months, it was expected the Vengeance add-on would be all she wrote for last year's most successful FPS. Then out of nowhere, a new teaser trailer for Origins arrived, giving the feeling Treyarch wasn't quite done with new content just yet.

As you can see in the footage above, there are allusions to what appear to be locations from previous Zombies maps. Four male characters are also shown, though none of them looks particularly familiar. Could this expansion put a bow tie on Zombies, and be a co-op adventure that explains how zombies can exist in the Treyarch Call of Duty universe? Will the giant robot squash everyone in its path? Wait, what? There's a giant robot?

With the first look at Call of Duty: Ghosts' multiplayer coming next week, Treyarch doesn't have a lot of time to get the word out about Origins, so expect more details sooner rather than later.
