These days, it seems like the whole of 'Community' season 4 is being kept under lock and key, especially torturous considering we're only a little over a week until the premiere of the first episode under new showrunners David Port and Moses Guarascio. And while 'Community' season 4 remains under a 13-episode order for the moment, we're always up for a fancy new guest star, and this time it's Brie Larson! So, who might the  '21 Jump Street' and 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World' actress be playing?

It isn't always easy to keep a secret at Greendale, but the folks at 'Community' are sure trying. TVLine has learned exclusively that actress/singer Brie Larson is to join the ranks of 'Community' season 4, though NBC isn't saying as whom just yet. So far, all that's been revealed is that Larson will pop up in the seventh episode of the season, which sees Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) planning a Sadie Hawkins dance for Greendale.

The same episode will also see Britta (Gillian Jacobs) throwing a "Sophie B. Hawkins" dance in protest, in typical Britta fashion; and in equally typical Britta fashion, confusing Sophie B. Hawkins with Susan B. Anthony. She's the worst.

In addition to Larson, ‘Community’s' star-studded fourth season includes ‘Battlestar Galactica’ vet Tricia Helfer, ‘Bridesmaids’ star Matt Lucas, UK thespian Malcolm McDowell as the gang’s new history professor, and Hollywood icon James Brolin as Jeff (Joel McHale)’s father.

What say you? Why might 'Community' be keeping Brie Larson's role so secretive? Watch the new season premiering Friday, October 19, and give us your hopes for 'Community' season 4 in the comments!
