Somewhere in the corner of your mind you know you've been looking forward to catching a glimpse of 'Cosmopolis.' Sure, it got mixed reviews at this year's Cannes Film Festival, but that won't stop you from watching Robert Pattinson the new David Cronenberg movie. It's just too strange not to see.

Thankfully Entertainment One took one long hard look at the eccentric film and chose to distribute it. Now U.S. audiences will be able to check out the film when it's released in theaters on August 17th, reports IndieWire. The only bad part is that 'Cosmopolis' is a limited release, meaning that it'll open the first week in New York and Los Angeles then expand to additional theaters as the weeks pass. Still, we wish that it would open up in the U.S. first instead of the U.K. like it will in July. Lucky.

'Cosmopolis' is based off of the Don DeLillo novel where Eric (Pattinson) gets in his limo to get a haircut but then runs into a crazy array of problems and people along the way. The rest of the cast includes Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand and Jay Baruchel.

And in case you need to refresh your memory on some of the mayhem that can go on in David Cronenberg's latest twisted tale, you can watch the trailer below.

Will you be checking out 'Cosmopolis' when it comes out? Why or why not?
