Darth Vader-Themed PlayStation 4 Bundles Announced

Sony will join the dark side of the Force with a Darth Vader-themed PlayStation 4 console that will be bundled with Disney Infinity 3.0  and Star Wars Battlefront.

The PlayStation Blog announced that there are two new PS4 bundles on the way, each featuring a Star Wars-themed console. This redesigned PS4 has the iconic visage of Darth Vader on the top of it, as well as the Star Wars logo repeated around his helmet. While fans might look at the console's DualShock 4 controller and be confused by its colors, we should note that this redesigned peripheral was inspired by the buttons, knobs, lights and dials of Darth Vader's chest panel. The DualShock 4's touchpad also features the same print that surrounds Vader's face on the console.

You're only going to be able to score this console variant via two upcoming bundles. The first bundle will feature the Vader PS4 as well as the deluxe edition of Star Wars Battlefront. The other bundle is a Walmart exclusive and features the Star Wars-themed PS4 packaged with Disney Infinity 3.0. The Walmart bundle also includes the PlayStation-exclusive Hardware Bundle Kit, which includes Disney Infinity 3.0, a base station and three figures (Boba Fett, Princess Leia and Obi-Wan Kenobi).

Best of all, both bundles will include vouchers for deluxe editions of a group of previous Star Wars classics, including: Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, Super Star Wars and Star Wars: Racer Revenge. These four titles will feature enhanced visuals and Trophy support.

The Darth Vader PS4 bundle featuring Disney Infinity 3.0 debuts on Aug. 28, and the Battlefront bundle will launch on Nov. 17.
