At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the next slate of DC Animated films for 2017 was released, which consists of Justice League Dark, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract and an original feature by Bruce Timm called Batman and Harley Quinn. But it sounds like more may be on the way, if Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy have any say in the matter.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, after a Canada 2016 Fan Expo panel, Hamill and Conroy answered some questions from the fans. When one person asked about what direct-to-DVD titles might be scheduled by Warner Bros. Animation’s DC department, Conroy turned to Hamill and asked, “What do you think about Hush?” This prompted some “ooh”s from the crowd.

Hamill then asked Conroy, “Well, what do you think about A Death in the Family?” and the fans went wild.

Hush is a supervillain and master tactician who was once Bruce Wayne’s childhood friend, and has appeared multiple times in the comics, but has only one film appearance in Batman Unlimited: Mech vs. Mutants, which premiered at this year’s SDCC. A Death in the Family came out in the late 1980s and centers on Batman’s relationship with the dangerously impulsive Jason Todd (the second Robin). The comic was also famous for allowing fans to vote on which character to kill off via a 900 number.

There’s a chance Hamill and Conroy could just be teasing, but given the fans’ reaction at the panel, if Warner Bros. execs aren’t already considering these titles, they might want to start.

The next DC Animated film is Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, which will premiere at the New York Comic Con on October 6, with a digital release on October 11 and a home video release November 1.
