Eidos has released a new developer walkthrough for the Wii U version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, offering a glimpse at some of the big changes in action.

The Wii U version's biggest addition is the GamePad compatibility. You'll be able to use the GamePad to hack, read your map, manage your inventory and more, meaning you'll have easier access to all those tools in your arsenal. For a majority of the playthrough, you can see only some subtle changes have been made to the overall experience.

However, once you get to the first boss, you can really see the differences in the Director's Cut. Now, you can finally go through a boss fight without having to kill the enemies. For those stealthy players disappointed with how the original forced you to fight in these encounters, Eidos has opened up the level to include more secret areas and sneaking points, which should allow you to find the non-lethal win condition.

There's still no date in sight, but the Human Revolution Director's Cut will arrive on the Wii U, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year.
