Homina, homina, homina!  It's a good thing we were already sitting down, because 'Glee' fans wondering how actress Kate Hudson would fare in the show's fourth season can officially put any fears to rest.  The lovably reliable Ryan Murphy has tweeted out the first official production photo from 'Glee' season 4, featuring the 'Almost Famous' actress mid-performance as one of Rachel Berry's new NYADA instructors, and...well, let's just say we're going to remain seated for the time being.

Thanks to Ryan Murphy and his ever-leaky Twitter, we've got a leg up on 'Glee' season 4 with the first official production photo, featuring Kate Hudson in a dance-routine as a NYADA instructor.  Said to be "The anti-Will Schuester," Hudson will appear in Fox’s musical dramedy in a six-episode arc clashing with her new NYADA student Rachel Berry.

It's unclear if Hudson's character specifically teaches dance at the New York institution, but the photo certainly suggests as such with the character's outfit.  Surprisingly, precious few details have been announced or seen from Sarah Jessica Parker's character, announced on the same day as Hudson's.

In addition to Hudson and Parker,  new cast-mates include‘Homeland‘ star Melissa Benoist and Becca Tobin, along with Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist, though Geyer’s role will take place in New York as a NYADA freshman with eyes for Rachel Berry.  Artist on the other hand will join the new girls in Ohio as Jake, younger half-brother to Noah “Puck” Puckerman.  Apart from the newbies, the only concrete casting of late is the upgrade of recurring star Chord Overstreet to series regular.

Nearly all 15 of ‘Glee’s series regulars from the third season will return in at least some capacity this year as the series moves between Ohio and New York. The series is also negotiating with ‘The Glee Project’ winners Alex Newell and Samuel Larsen to return for the fourth season, while Damian McGinty will not return immediately.
