There’s a ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ Stage Show?
What's better than watching 'How To Train Your Dragon' (also known as one of the best films that DreamWorks Animation has produced in the past few years)? Watching it again as a spectacular live-action stage show. And, yes, that's actually soon to be a reality!
DreamWorks decided to do Disney one better and not only made one of their famous movies into a stage show, but hired a team to help them make about twenty-four monstrous animatronic dragons. You know what that means, right? It means that if you were to go and attend this stage show you'd see a larger than life size version of Toothless and the rest of the dragons.
The stage show, as you would imagine, completely recreates the entire movie out on the stage. /Film reports that the show has been making its rounds in Australia and is currently being shown in New Zealand. So when will it make its way over to the States? There's no official tour dates set for the U.S. right now but given the massive appeal they'll probably be over at this end of the ocean at some point hopefully in 2013.
What better way to quench your appetite for the 'How To Train Your Dragon Stage Spectacular' than by checking out the trailer and some clips from the actual show below. Don't forget that DreamWorks is already busy at work with a sequel to the highly successful film, scheduled to be released on June 20, 2014.
