Get ready for some insane Suda51 action, as Killer is Dead just got its vague Summer release window narrowed down.

Now due on Aug. 27, Killer is Dead will be bringing the crazy sword-slicing, gun-arm blasting, lady-killing awesomeness only capable from the deranged brain of Suda51 stateside. To make things even better, if you happen to pick up the game at launch, you'll automatically be getting some sweet additional content.

The launch day edition will include an 80-page art book and a soundtrack with 25 tracks. The Smooth Operator add-on will also be thrown in, which will give you Gigolo Glasses, an alternate costume for Vivienne and Mika and a bonus Gigolo Mission with Betty. There's even a whole new bit of content featuring the vampire Sebastian to enjoy, too.

"We are looking forward to the upcoming release of Killer is Dead with a special art book, soundtrack CD and bonus DLC," said Shinichi Suzuki, President of XSeed Games/Marvelous USA, Inc. "Fans have been very supportive, which we're extremely grateful for, so everyone who has pre-ordered the game or buys it at launch will get a deluxe version for no extra charge."
