Legends of Tomorrow has already confirmed we’d visit a future Star City with Green Arrow successor Connor Hawke, as well that a unique version of Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen would show up, and the combined truth will delight fans. Not only will a future Oliver appear in Legends’ sixth episode, but Amell will sport both the famous comic goatee, and a major nod to Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.

Per ComicBook.com, Amell will appear in the upcoming sixth Legends of Tomorrow installment (potentially titled “Star City 2046,” given previous talk of “2146,” perhaps to throw off speculation) as an older Oliver Queen, alongside an unrelated Connor Hawke. In addition to the future goatee (Amell famously declared his series would never use it), the Arrow star will be missing his left arm, in an homage to the elder Oliver Queen of Frank Miller’s Batman comic.

Says executive producer Marc Guggenheim of the outing:

Every once in a while, we do an episode where the 10 year-old me has to pinch himself. We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow.

As an added bonus to comic book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.

And to anyone concerned about damaging Stephen Amell’s natural handsomeness, or luscious locks:

Other upcoming Legends episodes will introduce such DC favorites as Jonah Hex, but what other comic surprises could the Arrow-Flash spinoff throw our way?
