‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 3 Trailer Teases ‘Titanic’ Returns, Familiar Foes
You didn’t think Arrow, Flash and Supergirl were the only DC dramas to preview their wares at Comic-Con 2017, did you? Meet the new Vixen villain complicating Legends of Tomorrow’s already-broken timeline, and see what Damien Darhk and Constantine have to do with the first Season 3 trailer!
As announced at Legends’ Season 3 Comic-Con panel, Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk will make a surprise return as a new series regular, while Arthur Darvill has been downgraded to recurring as Rip Hunter. So too will Wentworth Miller stay recurring as Captain Cold, while Season 3 will introduce animated Vixen villain Kuasa, and producers have discussed bringing back Matt Ryan’s Constantine. And who could ignore Billy Zane’s P.T. Barnum appearance, or the subsequent reference to Victor Garber’s own history building the Titanic?
Elsewhere of Legends of Tomorrow Season 3, Tala Ashe will take the series regular role of 2030 computer wiz Zari Adrianna Tomaz, likely an incarnation of DC’s Isis. Maisie Richardson-Sellers’ Vixen is also confirmed to return, despite her absence from the recent synopsis, while Season 3 is itself set to premiere on Tuesday, October 10 after Season 4 of The Flash.
We’ll hear more in the coming weeks, but stay tuned for the latest on Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 in the meantime.
