Hello, friend. You’ve waited long enough for new episodes of Mr. Robot, and a first full Season 3 trailer is here to take the edge off that October premiere. Rest assured, Five/Nine was only the beginning.

The new trailer was hidden in a maze of clues that range from Morse code in a tie to a stream of nonsense tweets, but our first look at Mr. Robot Season 3 has finally come to light. The new footage is set to a reading of Leonard Cohen’s “Democracy” (as was tweeted out), showcasing that New York has only gotten more dangerous after the destruction of Evil Corp’s records.

The promo also confirms a Season 3 premiere date of Wednesday, October 11. In addition to the first trailer, the Mr. Robot Twitter account earlier shared a first look at Bobby Cannavale in his mystery role as Irving, “a laconic, no-nonsense used car salesman”:

Elsewhere of Mr. Robot Season 3, we know that B.D. Wong has been promoted to series regular in his role as the mysterious “Whiterose.” Creator Sam Esmail will again direct all episodes, taking the extra time to steady the series creatively.

We’ll see what else Mr. Robot Season 3 has in store before its October premiere, but what do we make of the latest look?
