'New Girl' season 2 certainly burned off a number of high-profile guest stars in its two season premiere episodes "Re-Launch" and "Katie," everyone from 'Justified's' Raymond Barry and Parker Posey, to 'The Book of Mormon's' Josh Gad, but the second season of FOX's adorkable sophomore comedy is far from over. Plenty of guest stars have still to make their turn, but who's the latest? Why, 'Magic Mike' and 'The Newsroom' star Olivia Munn, of course! But whom might she play?

Boy, FOX's 'New Girl' sure is making headway through the list of Hollywood "it" girls. According to Deadline, former G4 correspondent and all around geek goddess Olivia Munn is the latest to blow through the "New Girl" loft, guesting as Angie, a new love interest for Nick (Jake Johnson). The report describes Munn's character as "sexy, earthy, charming and can hold her own with the group," not all that unlike Munn herself.

Filming her arc before season 2 of HBO drama 'The Newsroom' begins shooting, Munn is the latest big name to join the season 2 guest roster, which already includes Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner as Jess' parents, Carla Gugino, Maria Thayer, Rob Riggle, ‘Traffic Light’ star Nelson Franklin as Cece’s new boyfriend, ‘Bent’ star David Walton as a bad-boy sex interest for Jess, and former ‘Reno 911!’ star Niecy Nash as a street hooker after Jess’ purse.

Well, what say you? Did you like the first two episodes of 'New Girl's' second season, or are you more interested in Olivia Munn's appearance? Give us your reaction in the comments below!
