Kelly Reichardt may not be a household name, but she's on a role when it comes to pleasing critics and indie film lovers. Since 2006, she's completed three increasingly beloved and divisive films, which means that she is officially on a streak. Can her next project, titled 'Night Moves,' start passionate conversations in the same way that 'Old Joy,' 'Wendy and Lucy' and 'Meek's Cutoff' did? Probably...and it'll have a great cast, too.

Variety is reporting that Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning are in talks to join the film, which will follow a team of eco terrorists as they plan to blow up a dam. Eisenberg will play the leader of the team, Fanning will play the rich girl who supplies the cash and the previously announced Peter Sarsgaard will play their bomb maker. That's one strong trio of thespians to have attached to a potentially fascinating premise like that.

Interestingly, Eisenberg is replacing Paul Dano, who had previous worked with Reichardt on 'Meek's Cutoff' and Fanning is filling in for Rooney Mara, who was at one point considered for the role.

At this point, we have no idea what else Reichardt has up her sleeve, but we can be sure that it'll be methodically placed, thought-provoking and sure to get the tongues a-wagging in the theater lobby and on the internet comment sections.
