It's been a couple of years since we last saw filmmaking extraordinaire Brian De Palma direct a movie, but today we get a sneak peek at what he's been up to recently with the release of several new pictures from his film 'Passion.' As you can judge from the picture above, the images are a bit sexy.

De Palma's new film stars Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace in a remake of the French movie 'Crime d'amour' ('Love Crime') made in 2010. In this feature we follow Isabelle (Rapace), a young businesswoman who ends up plotting revenge against her mentor and boss Christine (McAdams) who stole her ideas. To top that all off, Isabelle ends up sleeping with one of Christine's lovers, which complicates her schemes even more.

Normally people scoff at the idea of doing a remake to a movie that was just released somewhat recently, but this is Brian De Palma we're talking about here. He's the same man who made 'Phantom of the Paradise,' 'Blow Out,' 'Carrie' and 'Scarface.' He's an absolute legend and hopefully he'll deliver another great erotic thriller with this movie.

'Passion' is scheduled to be released at some point in 2013. Right now they're shopping around at Cannes Film Festival for North American distributors, so the sooner this gets picked up, the better. Check out the new images and teaser poster below from the official 'Passion' Facebook page.
