Don't let the fact that it's a family friendly animated movie based on a picture book fool you: 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs' is one of the funniest movies in recent years, containing more jokes in a single given minute that most movies can fit in their entire running time. It's 'Airplane!' level of joke saturation: if one joke doesn't work for you, just wait another ten seconds because here comes sixteen gags that will. We don't know if the upcoming sequel, 'Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers' will be as funny, but it just cast Kristen Schaal, which is a good start.

If you like good things, you're at least somewhat familiar with Schaal. She's a correspondent on 'The Daily Show.' She was the obsessed fan on 'Flight of the Conchords.' She recent appeared on '30 Rock' and voices Louise on 'Bob's Burgers.' All of that is on top of appearances in 'The Muppets' and 'Toy Story 3' (heck, she's even in the 'Mad Men' pilot). But who will she be playing in 'Cloudy 2'? According to The Hollywood Reporter, her "character is described as an orangutan." So, we can presume that she'll be playing an orangutan.

Along with Schaal, Bill Hader, Anna Farris and Andy Samberg will all reprise their roles from the original film. The sequel will follow our band of heroes as they return to the island of Swallow Falls to combat the sentient food that has overrun the island (which sounds like the last twenty minutes of the first film stretched to feature length, but whatever).

The directors of the first film, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, have successfully made the transition to live action filmmaking (and if you haven't seen their '21 Jump Street,' you're missing out), so it falls to Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn to make this sequel live up to its predecessor. No pressure, guys.
