The Simpsons managed to dovetail its 600th episode with Season 28's “Treehouse of Horror XXVII” this coming Sunday, and no element of the series’ history is off-limits. As such, Hank Azaria will make his long-awaited return to the role of Homer’s “nemesis” Frank Grimes, the first clip of which you can watch right now.

Entertainment Weekly shared a first look at Grimes’ brief cameo, in which the ghostly villain joins Kelsey Grammer’s Sideshow Bob to assemble a sinister squadron of Simpsons enemies to try to kill the Simpsons. As you can imagine, it doesn’t go particularly well:

Azaria hasn’t officially reprised the character since Season 8 , which first saw Frank Grimes (or “Grimey,” as he liked to be called) losing both his sanity at the concept of Homer’s endlessly good fortune, and ultimately his life. The character has earned the occasional reference, along with an appearance from Frank Grimes Jr. in Season 14.

Sunday’s new “Treehouse of Horror” will also feature the voices of Sarah Silverman and Drew Carey, in addition to Grammer, along with an impressive Mad Max: Fury Road parody. See for yourself below, and stay tuned for the latest on Season 28.
