If you were one of the ones who bought the latest 'Star Wars' video game - 'Star Wars: Kinect' - hoping for a solid game only to find out it featured Han Solo and Lando Calrissean dancing to pop songs, well we have some good news for you. Today Lucasfilm announced their latest video game 'Star Wars 1313' which is described as being a much more "dark and mature" game than recent installments.

The game will formally be unveiled at the E3 conference this month but yesterday Lucasfilm announced the rumored '1313' game and shed a little light on what this mystery project would be. Is it a Boba Feet game as many had speculated?  Well, not really but close.

Explains Lucasfilm:

Named for Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant, the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy. Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world.

The game is described as a "third person cinematic action adventure game" and used the combined talents of LucasArts, Industrial Light and Magic, Lucasfilm Animation and Skywalker Sound. No details yet on when the film will be released (if we know Lucasfilm, think Christmas) but expect more details out of E3 as the conference kicks off on June 5th.

What do you think?  Are you excited to play this new "mature" 'Star Wars' game or have you lost faith in George Lucas to deliver the goods?
