We are in final days before the final Star Wars movie. This Friday, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters. And, as you might expect, the nerds are hyped.

TMZ reports that fans are already camped out outside of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, waiting for their chance to be the first people in the world (or at least at that theater) to see the movie. Fans have made waiting on line for obscene amounts of time for Star Wars into a beloved tradition. But, as TMZ notes, the situation is actually a little more complicated than it used to be:

In other words, being first in line does not mean you will be the first person to get your pick of seats — because the theater isn’t first come first serve. You pick your seat when you buy a ticket. Waiting on line for five days to get the best seat at a movie that has reserved seating is a true galaxy (far, far away) brain move.

But hey, maybe if you’re lucky, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog will come and break up the boredom by making fun of you while you wait:

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters on Friday. If you’re waiting on line for the movie already — especially somewhere cold — may the Force be with you.
