‘Supernatural’ Season 10 Premiere Photos: Demon Dean Howls at the Moon
The CW's proposed 'Supernatural' spinoff may not have panned out, nor do we have any idea when the series itself may come to a close, but after the ninth season finale's shocking final second twist, the Winchester boys are in for a hell of a ride in the October 7 premiere. See Dean adjusting to his new life, while Sam looks the worse for wear in our first photos from season 10 premiere "Black"!
In addition to showing off a recovered, but karaoke driven Dean (only a newly-minted demon would sing Atlanta Rhythm Section’s “Imaginary Lover”), the newest photos of 'Supernatural' season 10 also provide our first look at the villainous hunter Cole (Travis Aaron Wade). Cole crosses paths with Sam (note the real-life clipped wing of Jared Padalecki) in search of Dean, utilizing unsavory means on the younger Winchester to find his quarry.
No sign of the still-suffering Castiel (Misha Collins) or newly-christened series regular Crowley (Mark Sheppard) just yet, but here's what The CW had to say of 'Supernatural' season 10, premiering October 7:
Season 10 begins with Sam’s frantic search for his missing brother, who is gone without a trace. The road to recovering the wayward Dean takes Sam down dark paths, with consequences that will shake the boys to their core. Meanwhile, Castiel has to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Metatron's campaign. With his grace failing and rogue angels still on the loose, Cass will face the ticking clock of his own mortality as all-new threats emerge to once again push all of our heroes to their limits.
We'll know more on the tenth season of 'Supernatural' over the coming month, with a real trailer likely to arrive any day now, but in the meantime, check out demon Dean in our first photos of season 10 premiere "Black" below, and give us your Winchester predictions in the comments!
