Tenacious D Returns In This Funny New Mini-Movie

While 'Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny' didn't exactly light the box office on fire, it still remains a favorite amongst fans of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. The dynamically talented singing duo are looking to shack off the box office cobwebs and stage a hard rocking comeback with the upcoming release of their 3rd album, 'Rize of the Fenix.'

To help promote it, the AV Club has a funny mini-movie of Jack Black and Kyle Gass with cameo appearances by Val Kilmer, Dave Grohl and Tim Robbins. Check out the movie below. Caution: there is some adult language.

That was actually a pretty funny short. But will Hollywood ever let these two make another movie together? We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, look for 'Rize of the Fenix' to hit stores and online in May.
