For all the summer returns we're looking forward to, 'The Killing' season 3 will arrive the earliest with its two-hour premiere on June 2, picking up with an all-new case for detectives Holder and Linden to solve. We've seen a few photos and teasers from the new season thus far, but none that had our favorite detectives back together again! See the new and improved Linden and Holder in the latest 'The Killing' season 3 sneak peek inside!

'The Killing' season 3 will have quite a few expectations to surmount as it moves beyond the infamous Rosie Larsen murder that drove the first two seasons, but everything we've seen so far seems to have recaptured that old Seattle murder mystery drama. TVLine has obtained a new photo for the season, giving us our first look at Holder and Linden back together again, Holder in his nice new suit, as we see a number of youths involved with the case.

The new season of the AMC drama will open up a year after the close of the Rosie Larsen murder with Linden having left the force until Holder’s search for a runaway girl leads him to discover a gruesome string of murders that connects to Linden’s previous murder investigation. ‘The Killing’ season 3 understandably won’t involve the Larsen Family, nor will seasons 1 and 2 regular Mayor Darren Richmond (Billy Campbell) appear.

In addition to the casting of  Peter Sarsgaard as death row inmate Ray Seward, ‘The Killing’ season 3 also boasts ‘Battlestar Galactica’ vet Aaron Douglas, ‘Flashpoint’s’ Hugh Dillon, Johnny Ray Gill, Amy Semeitz, Max Fowler and Elias Koteas among its cast.

You can check out the latest photo from 'The Killing' season 3 below, and tell us if you'll tune in for the June 2 premiere in the comments!
