Naughty Dog's upcoming zombie survival-thriller, The Last of Us, is set to kick off the summer gaming season very soon. But while we suffer through the agonizing wait, we can check out the handful of new screenshots that were just released, a multiplayer reveal video, and a live-action TV spot.

Up first is the live-action TV spot, narrated by Ashley Johnson, the voice of Ellie in The Last of Us. We see Joel in his old life, progressively becoming more grizzled and bearded as Ellie asks him what he's prepared to do in the name of survival. It's cool to see the actor who plays pre-apocalyptic Joel turn into the computer-generated character model after a while. And this video also serves to get us even more pumped to play the game, especially if it will help us grow awesome beards.

The second video touches on the game's multiplayer component, which is very reminiscent of the Uncharted series' multiplayer gameplay. The difference here is that the executions are a little more brutal, there's more of a focus on teamwork, and the mode is played across 12 weeks of survival against rival factions.

Finally, we have a smattering of screenshots that highlights the multiplayer game and gives us peeks into how this exercise in survival can turn especially violent.

View all of the fine new media above and below, then tell us if you're psyched for this game to be released on June 14, 2013 on PlayStation 3.
