If you just can’t wait until January 24, 2016 to check out FOX’s revival of The X-Files, and if you just happen to be around New York next month, then you’re in luck: the network will debut the new premiere episode of The X-Files at New York Comic-Con with Spooky Mulder himself (that’s David Duchovny if you want to be proper).

Per Variety, New York Comic-Con will host a panel for The X-Files revival with comedian and Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani moderating. Nanjiani is a guest star in the upcoming revival, which doesn’t premiere until January, but NYCC attendees will be able to watch the premiere episode “My Struggle” a few months in advance.

Duchovny will also be in attendance at the convention along with series creator Chris Carter, and the two will field questions during a post-screening Q&A. The screening and panel will take place on Saturday, October 10, with fellow FOX shows Minority Report, Sleepy Hollow and more also appearing at the con.

So far of The X-Files revival series we know that Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are reprising their roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, respectively, while the network has also confirmed the Lone GunmenAnnabeth Gish and William B. DavisCommunity star Joel McHale will play a conservative pundit who tasks Mulder and Scully with investigating a woman claiming to have been abducted (The Americans star Annet Mahendru). Additionally, comedian and superfan Kumail Nanjiani will play a small role, while Flash star Robbie Amell and Six Feet Under alum Lauren Ambrose will play a pair of confident new FBI agents.
