Capcom has revealed some details on the release of Ultra Street Fighter 4, the news of which will hopefully sate our thirst for battle, if only for a little while.

A post on Capcom Unity provided information on Ultra Street Fighter 4's release, along with the schedule for the Capcom Cup tournament.

According to the post, Capcom wants to ensure that players have enough time to play the game and get some practice in so that they can compete at Evolution 2014.

To help facilitate this, the digital upgrade will be available in early June for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, priced at $14.99.

The digital upgrade for PC will be released in August and will cost $14.99. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 digital bundles and retail versions will be released around the same time and run for $39.99. These versions will include all of the previous-released costumes for the characters.

Because PC players have to wait so long, they'll also have the option of getting the full digital bundle, which includes all of the costumes, for $29.99.

These release windows are meant to ensure that competitive players will have the time necessary to get used to the new mechanics and bring their A-game to Evolution 2014.
