It's been a little while since we've heard anything about the new 'Vacation' sequel/reboot with former 'Office' star Ed Helms playing a grown-up Rusty Griswold -- but rest assured, this 'Vacation' is still very much happening, and has just packed up two very awesome accessories: 'Thor' star Chris Hemsworth and 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' star Charlie Day. This is going to be the best 'Vacation' ever!

THR reports that Chris Hemsworth (of 'Thor' and your wildest dreams) along with Charlie Day (of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' and 'Pacific Rim') have joined the new 'Vacation' sequel/reboot/remake/whatever we're calling these things now. The new film will star Helms as a grown-up Rusty Griswold who endeavors to take his very own family on a special vacation -- and you can already assume how that's going to pan out.

Hemsworth will star as the husband of Rusty's sister, Audrey -- after all these years, Audrey really got it together and landed herself a hunk. Day will cameo as a river rafting guide. Spoiler: this vacation involves river rafting.

Christina Applegate will play Rusty's wife, while original franchise stars Beverly D'Angelo and Chevy Chase will cameo as his parents, obviously. The script comes courtesy of 'Horrible Bosses' writing duo John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who are making their directorial debut.
