In the world of the X-Men, mutants face discrimination, threats, and sometimes even potential extermination. In response, mutants are generally given two options: The path of Professor Xavier, who argues for peaceful coexistence with the rest of humanity, and Magneto, who believes that the rest of society will not allow mutants to survive.

X-Men movies typically portray Xavier as the hero and Magneto as the villain, but ... maybe they’re wrong? And maybe Magneto was right and had a point about how mutants and humans could not live side-by-side? In our latest Marvel video, we look at the long history of X-Men movies to see how Magneto’s actions and philosophy are proven to be correct or incorrect, with some pretty surprising results.
