'American Horror Story' creator Ryan Murphy remains well known for his casting cross-pollination, so much so, that it's become a new normal. And while we wouldn't expect Jim Parsons or Mark Ruffalo to pop up among the 'Freak Show,' the FX horror drama has recruited 'White Collar' and Emmy-nominated 'The Normal Heart' star Matt Bomer for a warped new role. Let's celebrate with yet another freaky 'Freak Show' teaser!

Per Entertainment Weekly, Murphy would only offer so much detail of the role, other than to clarify that Bomer had to schedule the 'Freak Show' appearance around production of 'Magic Mike XXL.' Says Murphy, “I try to get [Matt] to do everything for me. I sent him a text that said, ‘First right of refusal, here’s the role.’ It’s very…warped.”

Premiering Wednesday, October 8, here's how FX officially describes its fourth season 'Freak Show':

'American Horror Story: Freak Show' begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.

The new ‘Freak Show’ season will see franchise veteran Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, a German ex-patriot running one of the last American freak shows, which includes rescued “unusuals” from the likes of ‘Coven‘ and franchise stars Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Sarah Paulson, Denis O’Hare, Evan PetersEmma Roberts and Frances Conroy. ‘The Shield’ star Michael Chiklis will portray a strongman husband to Bassett’s character, while Wes Bentley will guest in a Halloween arc.

Additionally, original 'Fargo' star John Carroll Lynch will play the season's big bad clown killer "Twisty," singer Patti LaBelle will play Gabourey Sidibe's mother, and the world's smallest woman Jyoti Amge will guest as...well, someone really small. Lest we forget, there are also the other details teased from Comic-Con 2014.

We've included the latest 'Freak Show' teaser as well, and look forward to an onslaught of increasingly nondescript spots to come. In the meantime, tell us what you want to see from 'American Horror Story' season 4 in the comments!
