'Bates Motel' teenage 'Psycho' Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) had at least four women on his plate over the course of the first season, one of whom was his own mother Norma (Vera Farmiga), and another of which ended up in a pool of blood by the season finale, but that wouldn't stop a growing boy, now would it? The latest intel from season 2 suggests that Norman will meet yet another lovely lady, via 'Percy Jackson' star Paloma Kwiatkowski, but what makes us think she has a 'Psycho' streak of her own?

Via Deadline, Kwiatkowski will take the role of small town party girl Cody Brennan, who befriends Norman and bonds with him by showing how much having fun and “acting out” can distract from his pain temporarily. No telling what Bradley (Nicola Peltz) would have to say about Cody, but we can already imagine Emma (Olivia Cooke) sadly wheeling her oxygen tank away.

Elsewhere, we know of a trio of new guest stars checking in for 'Bates Motel' season 2, including 'Alias’ star Michael Vartan as a new love interest for Norma, ‘Hung’ star Rebecca Creskoff as Norma’s first real female friend Christine, and ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ vet Kenny Johnson as Norma’s estranged and abusive brother Caleb.

“We would be remiss if we didn’t meet some other members of the Bates family,” series creator and former ‘LOST‘ showrunner Carlton Cuse previously stated. Nestor Carbonell’s mysterious Sheriff Romero will also receive a bigger spotlight in ‘Bates Motel’ season 2, as the show will cover more of his home life, and the identity of Dylan Massett’s father may come to light, as well.

Well, what say you? Does 2014 seem too far away for a second stay at the 'Bates Motel?' What do you hope to see from A&E's horror-drama the second time around?
