Now almost midway into December, it's saddening to think we once lived in a world where 'Community' season 4 was set to premiere on October 19. And for as closer to the reset February premiere date as each passing day takes us, we know that the coming year might be the last for our beloved Greendale gang. But why wait until February to begin celebrating, as we've got brand new photos from the 'Community' season 4 premiere right here!

We're only a few short months away from the February 7 premiere of 'Community' season 4, but it seems Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) and Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) decided to get the celebration going early! NBC has released new shots of season 4 premiere "History 101," which sees the Dean putting students through a 'Hunger Games'-style competition for a favored course.

The photos below highlight a dance portion of the competition, Jeff choosing the Dean to be his partner, though we already this given Joel McHale premiered a clip of the scene back in October before the expected debut.  One thing we certainly can't explain is the photo of Abed ducking security laser...tape!

Elsewhere, we know that 'Community's fourth season will see the final appearances of Chevy Chase's Pierce Hawthorne, 'Seinfeld' star Jason Alexander in a mysterious role, guest turns from Brie Larson, ‘Battlestar Galactica’ vet Tricia Helfer, ‘Bridesmaids’ star Matt Lucas, UK thespian Malcolm McDowell as the gang’s new history professor, and Hollywood icon James Brolin as Jeff (Joel McHale)’s father.

Check out the new shots below, and tell us what you hope to see from 'Community' season 4 in the comments!
