What Is Happening in This Korean ‘Hannibal’ Season 3 Promo?

NBC’s Hannibal has long trafficked in surreal imagery, and spared no expense showing off Mads Mikkelsen’s dapper new motorcycle look for Season 3, but…well, you should probably have a look at the latest Korean promo for yourself. You know, if you ever wanted to see Hannibal on a motorcycle, fired out of a giant gun.

Let’s see, Will Graham crying blood tears that turn into screaming skulls? Check. A CG Hannibal tearing down a monochrome highway filled with dragons, giant hands, screaming faces and looming, Orwellian security cameras? You betcha! Sure, there’s some actual footage, and what might be a spoiler on one finale character’s fate, depending on your interpretation, but who among us doesn’t want to see an entire season of Hannibal fighting off Master Hand?

Most recently adding Zachary Quinto and True Detective‘s Glenn Fleshler as Cordell, personal physician to Mason Verger (Joe Anderson, replacing Michael Pitt), we also know of Hannibal Season 3 that Gillian Anderson has been upgraded to series regular. The Hobbit star Richard Armitage, True Blood vet Rutina Wesley and Nina Arianda will play Red Dragon characters Francis Dolarhyde, Reba McClane and Molly, respectively, while Raul Esparza will return to the role of Dr. Frederick Chilton, and Eddie Izzard could return to the role of the late Dr. Abel Gideon as well.

The new season will pick up sometime later with Hannibal and Bedelia’s new life on the lam, also incorporating such other literary Thomas Harris figures as Hannibal novel character Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi. Additionally, Batman vs. Superman and The Wolverine star Tao Okamoto has been confirmed to play the role of Chiyo, attendant to Hannibal’s “aunt” Lady Murasaki.

Hannibal Season 3 will premiere on June 4, but we can offer no guarantees as to which episode features Mads Mikkelsen fired out of a giant gun at a dragon, caught on the world’s largest CCTV.
