Marvel’s Jessica Jones has taken an unusual approach to early promotion, only releasing its first photos and teasers a month or so before the premiere, leaving us to fill in the gap. Now, we know that acclaimed Orange is the New Black and Dexter director S.J. Clarkson will helm the first two installments, also acting as executive producer.

Per Marvel’s official confirmation, Clarkson directed the inaugural two outings of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, believed to be titled “AKA Ladies’ Night” and “AKA Crush Syndrome,” also joining the ranks of executive producer on the premiere. Clarkson notably directed the “Hello, Dexter Morgan” episode of the Showtime serial killer drama’s best season, while Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb offered a statement:

S.J.’s vision of the material is spectacular. She drew performances from our cast that are nothing short of remarkable. When the world gets to know Jessica Jones’ name it will be in no small part from S.J.’s sparkling talent. We can’t wait to work with her again.

So reads Marvel’s official Jessica Jones synopsis:

After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones will also make its presence known at New York Comic-Con, but take in the latest photos and teasers below, and stay tuned for more from the November 20 premiere!
