With only a few weeks to go until NBC serves up the pilot episode of Bryan Fuller's 'Hannibal' on April 4, we'd begun to fret that the morsel-like sneak peeks of the series would prove poor appetizers for the main course. Now NBC has unleashed its darkest, and bloodiest look yet at the series with a brand-new trailer, one that actually features its title character!

We're certain NBC will put quite a bit of promotion behind its buzz-worthy new drama 'Hannibal,' what with the recent losses they've suffered of late. Good thing, considering the network has released its best look yet at the Mads Mikkelsen / Hugh Dancy-fronted drama, delving deep into the early relationship between the titular 'Hannibal' and disturbed FBI agent Will Graham.

The new trailer focuses largely on Graham, who seems to have the uncanny ability to take his mind to such dark places as behind the eyes of the killer, but the footage gives plenty of flavor to Hannibal himself as well. We also catch a glimpse of 'Veep' star Anna Chlumsky's role within the series, and a subtle reference to the big-screen 'Hannibal' that nicely sets the mood.

In addition to Mikkelsen and Dancy, ‘Hannibal’ boasts appearances from ‘Dead Like Me’s’ Ellen Muth, Lance Henriksen and ‘The X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and spouse Gina Torres playing Jack Crawford and his wife, comedian Eddie Izzard, ‘SNL‘ alum Molly Shannon, ‘Pushing Daisies’ vet Ellen Greene, ‘Wonderfalls’ star Chelan Simmons, Lara Jean Chorostecki as a female interpretation of ‘Red Dragon’ character Freddy Lounds, and Raul Esparza as Dr. Frederick Chilton.

Check out the creepy new 'Hannibal' teaser below, and tell us in the comments if you'll tune in for the new series on April 4!
