We're just over a week away from NBC's 'Hannibal' premiere, sure to bring even more buzz back to NBC after this week's successful re-launch of 'The Voice' and 'Revolution.' The latest look at NBC's Bryan Fuller-helmed take on the classic Hannibal Lecter character proves impossibly gory and "red-band" for a broadcast TV trailer, so provided you haven't eaten in the last few hours, you need to check this one out right away!

The age of cable TV may have challenged the very limits of blood and gore on the small screen, but NBC's 'Hannibal' could bring the mantle right back to broadcast. The network has released a bloody new full three-minute trailer for the forthcoming series starring Mads Mikkelsen as the titular doctor, and Hugh Dancy as FBI profiler Will Graham, with imagery more disturbing than 'The Walking Dead' and 'Dexter' combined.

In addition to Mikkelsen and Dancy, ‘Hannibal’ boasts appearances from ‘Dead Like Me’s’ Ellen Muth, Lance Henriksen and ‘The X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and spouse Gina Torres playing Jack Crawford and his wife, comedian Eddie Izzard, ‘SNL‘ alum Molly Shannon, ‘Pushing Daisies’ vet Ellen Greene, ‘Wonderfalls’ star Chelan Simmons, Lara Jean Chorostecki as a female interpretation of ‘Red Dragon’ character Freddy Lounds, and Raul Esparza as Dr. Frederick Chilton.

Beware of a full stomach, and check out the goriest look yet at NBC's 'Hannibal' TV series below! Be sure to tune in for the series premiere on Thursday, April 4!
