The other day saw 'Sons of Anarchy''s seventh and final season debuting its first photo alongside new info on the 105-minute September 9 premiere, as will this coming week see Kurt Sutter and the cast dishing on the final ride from Comic-Con 2014, but why wait? The 'Sons of Anarchy' final season cast has made yet another surprising addition, while cast and producers dish on the heightened mood permeating SAMCRO.

First and foremost, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that 'Cosby Show' vet and 'Community' guest Malcolm Jamal-Warner will appear in the seventh 'Sons of Anarchy' season premiere in the role of as "Sticky, a member of the Grim Bastards and right-hand man to T.O. Cross (Michael Beach)." The character will appear in at least one more episode beyond the final season opener.

Next, series creator Kurt Sutter and the cast dropped by the TCA press tour to answer questions on the series, wherein Charlie Hunnam teased that we'd see Jax Teller in an especially dangerous mood (even a "schizophrenic state") after the traumatic events of season 6 finale "A Mother's Work."

He’s obviously very sad and vulnerable and kind of broken, but there’s a huge amount of vengeance and anger in his heart. The way all of that is processing, at least in the very beginning, is [starting] to have a numbing effect. He knows what he wants to do, and that’s where all of his energy is going to go, but he can’t get away from the fact that the love of his life has been taken from him.

This final betrayal [has] completely demolished any potential of him trusting anyone outside of his immediate circle. In all of the scenes, I’ve been trying to instill a little of that sense. Unless you’re my mom, my children or one of the Sons, you’d better watch out.

Elsewhere on ‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, we know that the premiere will pick up 10 days removed from the finale with Jax in prison on parole violation, while series creator Kurt Sutter has confirmed the returns of Walton GogginsVenus Van Dam, CCH Pounder’s DA Tyne Patterson, Peter Weller’s Charlie Barosky, and ‘Deadwood’ star Kim Dickens as Diosa madame Collette. Shock rocker Marilyn Manson will guest as an incarcerated white supremacist, while ‘The Bridge‘ star Annabeth Gish will act as the new Charming sheriff and Courtney Love has been given a “pivotal” role. Additionally, series stars Drea de Matteo, David Labrava and Niko Nicatera have been upped to series regulars for the final year.

We'll bring you more on 'Sons of Anarchy' season 7 from Comic-Con 2014 next Sunday, but in the meantime, check out the latest teaser for the final ride below, and give us your predictions for SAMCRO's ultimate end this fall on FX!
