Earlier today, Star Wars Rebels gave us a closer look at Season 2 with a clip of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s villainous “Seventh Sister,” but the Disney XD drama had so much more in store for New York Comic-Con 2015. A brand new trailer sees Ahsoka taking on the Inquisitors, with some surprises in store for the Ghost crew in Season 2.

As debuted with today’s NYCC 2015 panel, our latest look at Star Wars Rebels Season 2 brings plenty of new footage beyond the initial trailer, including more of James Earl Jones’ Darth Vader, Clone Wars favorites, B-Wings and beyond. We also get a sense of what the new Inquisitors are up to, all before Ahsoka ignites her white lightsabers to take them down.

Meanwhile, here’s Star Wars Rebels Season 2's new synopsis:

In Star Wars Rebels Season Two, past lives will be revealed and the destiny of our heroes will be changed forever. The transformative new season resumes with Imperial oppression on Lothal growing stronger and the Rebels seeking out new allies and additional resources to sustain their fight against the evil Empire. With the help of Ahsoka Tano, the crew of the Ghost enlists some old friends: ex-clone troopers who fought in the Clone Wars.

As the Rebels grow in number, so do their enemies. New Inquisitors are dispatched by Darth Vader and sent to crush any threat of rebellion. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space chases, and spectacular lightsaber duels — the bond of our Rebel crew will be put to the test like never before.

In addition to the return of Clone Wars favorites Captain Rex, Ahsoka Tano and Hondo Ohnaka, the second season of Star Wars Rebels will also pave the way for an episode penned by Star Wars: Rogue One screenwriter Gary Whitta. Clone Wars star Sam Witwer will also return to the voice of Emperor Palpatine, alongside James Earl Jones’ Darth Vader.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2 will return before you know it, but check out the trailer above and clips below, and prepare for the October 14 premiere!
