DC hasn't had as much luck with movies outsider of Christopher Nolan's Batman movies of late, so it's no surprise that for 'Man of Steel' they've tried to make it as Nolan-y as possible. The 'Dark Knight Rises' director is not only responsible for 'Steel's story and is its producer, his Batman composer Hans Zimmer is now attached to score the film.
When re-imagining the Man of Steel, there are very few changes you can make … unless you are prepared to alienate a passionate fan base. The suit has to be blue. The caps and boots must be red. Though the film isn't due out until June 14, 2013, that doesn't mean we won't get a steady stream of promotional material for Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' until it comes out. It's only fair: they've been shooting since August of 2011 and, with shooting scheduled to finish in February, they should be in post-production now. It's been quiet on the 'Man of Steel' front but now we have a new image from the film - a banner showing off the new Superman's shield.
