These days, it'd take at least two years to watch only only one season's worth of #PeakTV, a quarter of which won't even be around a second year. You’d need some sort of absurd television guidance periodical to navigate it all, but because we love you' we've put together an in-depth look at 30 major must-see premieres kicking off as early as August 31. Come, wrap some barbed wire around your bats and grab a coffee in Stars Hollow, as we descend into the madness that is Fall TV 2016!
It’s taken long enough for Cinemax’s adaptation of Max Collins’ Quarry to break ground, and will only take a bit longer still. The network has set an official September premiere for the Logan Marshall-Green led drama, also issuing its first official photos.
It’s been a long road getting to air, losing stars like Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Stellan Skarsgard in the process, but Cinemax’s Quarry is finally ready to open fire. While we’ll have Outcast over the summer to tide us over from Banshee’s end, check out the new trailer for Cinemax’s intense new fall adaptation Quarry, based on the Max Allan Collins books.
While Cinemax will bring two series to Comic-Con 2013 with 'Banshee' and 'Strike Back,' it's upcoming pilot drama 'Quarry' that continues to turn our heads. Most recently adding 'The Avengers' star Stellan Skarsgård and 'Die Hard' franchise vet Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the Cinemax drama adaptation has now brought in 'The Wire' vet Jamie Hector in a regular role.
In spite of their increasing pedigree, we haven't paid much attention to Cinemax's original series, but the latest additions to the pay cable network's upcoming drama series 'Quarry' have proven far too tempting to ignore. 'Die Hard' franchise star and 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' babe Mary Elizabeth Winstead has joined Cinemax's 'Quarry' in her first regular TV role since rising to fame, joining 'The Avengers' and 'Thor' star Stellan Skarsgard, among others.
