For as excited as we were to see 'The Walking Dead' season 4 trailer from Comic-Con 2013, we have to admit the actual panel and footage held very few surprises in store for the AMC horror drama's fourth cycle. That may soon change, however, as a new leaked casting report from production bears a shocking similarity to a fan-favorite trio from the Robert Kirkman books!

We'll have to take this with a grain of salt, but SpoilerTV seems to have picked up on three new casting notices for characters to be introduced in the 10th episode of the coming season. In other words, we wouldn't meet them until a few episodes into the latter half of the season, sometime in spring 2014. So, who does the outlet list as the three new characters entering the world of AMC's 'The Walking Dead'?

John Tyler - Early 30s, vulgar with rough edges but wise.
Wayne Kesey - Early 30s. Very smart and an experienced liar.
Jordana Barraza - Late 20s, tough hispanic and beautiful. Shamed about her past.

Keeping in mind that grain of salt and a serious spoiler alert, it has to be said that the descriptions bear a striking resemblance to comic characters Sgt. Abraham Ford, Dr. Eugene Porter and Rosita Espinosa, who traveled together in the books on a specialized mission before encountering Rick's group. It's no secret that fans have been clamoring to see Abraham realized on screen either, given early reports of Lawrence Gilliard Jr.'s season 4 character Bob Stookey was mistakenly associated with Abraham.

While we wait for an official confirmation on the casting, the next run of ‘The Walking Dead’ will upgrade actors Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney to series regulars, while AMC earlier confirmed that David Morrissey’s villainous Governor would also return in season 4 as a series regular.

Well, what say you? Do you think Abraham, Eugene and Rosita will appear in 'The Walking Dead' season 4? What characters are you eager to see brought into the AMC series? Watch the new trailer again below, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
