2012 Emmy Awards: Eric Stonestreet is Comedy’s Outstanding Supporting Actor
Stop the presses, 'Modern Family' has won an Emmy! The sure to dominate series caps off the first award of the night, snagging Outstanding Supporting Actor on the comedy side of things with Eric Stonestreet. Stonestreet won for his beloved portrayal of Cameron Tucker on ABC's monster-comedy hit 'Modern Family.'
Of course, we all know 'Modern Family' to be nominated dozens more times across the board tonight, so this surely won't be the last we're hearing about it. The award was presented by Louis C.K. and Amy Poehler, though their bit about Louis acting awkward at the microphone largely fell flat.
