Don Cheadle Wins Best Actor in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical at the 2013 Golden Globes
Well, there's a surprise! Rather than end up dominated by 'The Big Bang Theory' or 'Modern Family,' the 2013 Golden Globes have gone an unexpected direction with the Best Actor in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical, awarding the prize to 'House of Lies' star Don Cheadle. Cheadle has been acclaimed for his performance as smooth-talking consultant Marty Kaan, but find out whom he bested for the award inside!
Showtime's 'House of Lies' was in for a surprising truth tonight, conveniently also the night of its second season premiere, as the 2013 Golden Globe awards gave the Best Actor in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical statue to series star Don Cheadle. Cheadle graciously accepted the prize, thanking all of his 'House of Lies' co-stars.
Cheadle beat out such incredibly stiff competition as Alec Baldwin of '30 Rock,' Louis C.K. of 'Louie,' Matt Leblanc of 'Episodes' and frequent winner Jim Parsons of 'The Big Bang Theory.'
