Whether or not American Horror Story Season 6's meta “My Roanoke Nightmare” twist has reinvigorated the franchise, it’s all out the window with next week’s sixth chapter. Our first trailer for the big Season 6 shake-up has arrived, as a familiar Horror Story face takes Roanoke in a different direction.

You’re warned of full spoilers through the first half of American Horror Story: Roanoke from here on out, but it seems this week’s “Chapter 5” brought the “My Roanoke Nightmare” portion of the season to a close. Even the real Matt (André Holland), Shelby (Lily Rabe) and Lee (Adina Porter) acknowledge that their troubles came to an end after we watched their doppelgangers flee the Butcher’s land, ostensibly the end of the documentary format.

So, what next? Well, our first teaser for the season’s sixth chapter didn’t reveal much, only that Hotel star Cheyenne Jackson would take over a new reality format, apparently to surprise a subject in an office setting. Might that subject be either Matt or Shelby, to follow up after their experiences, or perhaps a new “Roanoke Nightmare” altogether? What of the “dramatic re-enactment” stars from the first half?

As previously revealed by executive producer Brad Falchuk, we, can expect Roanoke to unfurl as “three seasons: it’s like [episodes] 1 through 5, 6 through 9, and 10 is its own thing.”

We’ll find out, but hear what Sarah Paulson herself has to say, and get to speculatin’ on the rest of American Horror Story: Roanoke.
