Sarah Paulson stands as proof that anyone in Ryan Murphy’s orbit and end up on multiple series, and Cuba Gooding Jr. will learn by example. O.J. himself, the American Crime Story star will make the leap to American Horror Story with a confirmed role alongside Paulson in Season 6.

Following previous reports that placed Cuba Gooding Jr. on set, the actor confirmed with ABC News that we’d see him in the new season premiering next week. As with any and all details of the series, Gooding wouldn’t say much, but at least offered that the role correlated with his former prosecuting attorney:

When Ryan calls you and says, ‘Hey can you do this? Would you like to do that?’ It’s an immediate yes, no matter what it is. That’s how I felt when I first met him and now, going on two years later. It’s just been an honor – it’s been a treat.

It’s really been a treat to finally engage with [Sarah Paulson] on camera, because when we did ‘The People v. O.J.’ it was more about my scenes and then her scenes and us being in the courtroom but separate. But we’re not separate no more! … You’ll see a whole lot more of Cuba Gooding Jr. on the series.

Of course, we still don’t yet know for certain what American Horror Story is even about, but what other People v. O.J. Simpson favorites might pop up? Johnny Travolta, is that you with a question mark sewn into your skull?
