Honestly, at this point we're starting to think that the credits are going to be longer than any episode of 'American Horror Story' season 2.  For months now we've been hearing about the varous casting reports for the Ryan Murphy scare-fest's second season, and today a key new one has been added.  'Step Up' star Jenna Dewan will join the the ranks of season 2, but who will she be loving up and what does it all mean?

According to Entertainment Weekly, former 'Step Up' star Jenna Dewan (the first one, you know, the one with Channing Tatum) has joined the cast of 'American Horror Story' season 2.  Rather than dancing her way through the show's 1960's asylum setting, Dewan will take the role of one of "The Lovers," an apparently integral pairing to the show's second season, opposite Maroon 5 frontman and 'The Voice' judge Adam Levine.

Dewan is the latest to join the ‘American Horror Story’ season 2 cast, an expansive roster that already includes 'Carnivale' star Clea DuVall, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ star Chris Zylka, Americanized ‘Skins’ star Britne Oldford, ‘Big Love’ star Chloe Sevigny, ‘The Voice‘s Adam Levine, French actress Lizzie Brochere, Joseph Fiennes and James Cromwell.

Also returning from the first season are Jessica Lange, newly-minted series regular Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe. As previously reported, all will be playing new characters independent of the first season.

What say you?  Do you think Channing Tatum's actual wife Jenna Dewan will help bring the scares?  Are you excited for ‘American Horror Story’ season 2,’ and its many stars, or would you have preferred the same characters from season 2?  Tell us what you think in the comment below!
