Some days, it feels like 'American Horror Story' season 2, er, that's 'American Horror Story: Asylum' has kept more covered than a 1960's nun, an especially apt comparison given the show's season 2 focus.  That said, the first teaser for the long-awaited horror thriller's second season has finally arrived, and it's...well, kind of unclear.  What secrets can you derive from the first look at 'American Horror Story' season 2?

Via the show's Facebook page, 'American Horror Story: Asylum' has unveiled its first teaser in advance of an October premiere.  In it, we see what appears to be a woman of the convent (potentially Jessica Lange's character) carrying buckets of what seem to be human body parts as church bells ring in the background, before casually emptying them and continuing on her merry way into the woods.  Well, that explains...nothing.

To reiterate, ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ still boasts an incredible amount of star power, including most recently ‘The Bourne Identity’ actress Franka Potente, ‘The Voice‘ judge and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, ‘Step Up’s Jenna Dewan,‘Carnivale’ star Clea DuVall, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ star Chris Zylka, Americanized ‘Skins’ star Britne Oldford, ‘Big Love’ star Chloe Sevigny, French actress Lizzie Brochere, Joseph Fiennes and James Cromwell.

Also returning from the first season are Jessica Lange, upgraded  series regular Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe. As previously reported, all will be playing new characters independent of the first season in the show’s rebooted 1960′s asylum setting, which Lange’s character presides over.

So maybe next time we'll see something...actually illuminating?  That'd be nice.
