'Thor 2' has already begun filming, 'Captain America 2' is join suit next March, 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is under way, and details about the sequel to 'The Avengers' are pouring out. But what about one little project some people seem to be forgetting about? What's going on with 'Ant-Man'?

Director Edgar Wright has been working on a script for this upcoming Marvel movie for years now, and back in June he put together some test footage to show the execs his vision. Then at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, a preview was viewed by those in attendance, but apparently that was a work in progress. Thankfully, though, we can all calm down for a moment because it's probable that we'll get to see this footage Wright has been so diligently putting together real soon.

This news comes from Marvel Executive Victoria Alonso, who recently spoke with The Omelete. Roughly translated from the site, she said:

“What we showed at Comic-Con was a work in progress. We’re working on finishing it, and I think you might see it. Not sure where, but we always listen to the fans. And if the fans demand it we make sure they get it. I don’t know if we are going to post it online, but I don’t have [any reason] to believe we may not.”

Now, one of the other loose ends we want to tie up in the Marvel universe is the rumor going around that Viggo Mortensen will be making an appearance in 'Thor: The Dark World' as Dr. Strange. Alonso also cleared this one up quit nicely:

“We would love to work with Viggo Mortensen. I’ve been trying that for years. But I don’t know if Viggo is even acting anymore. I thought he wasn’t acting anymore. It would be great to work with him in the future, but we don’t have him signed, no.”

There you have it. We can all rest easy now, considering that Marvel will give into their need to spoil us with as many teasers as possible and hand over that 'Ant-Man' footage to us. But it's a shame that we won't be seeing Mortensen in a Strange costume anytime soon. We thought he'd be perfect for the role, but what say you? Is there someone better out there to take on this character?
