Bella Thorne Directed a Porn Film for Pornhub

Former Disney Channel star Bella Thorne has directed her first film at age 21. It is not your typical directorial debut.

It is a porn film for the website Pornhub. Titled “Her & Him,” and part of the site’s “Visionary Directors Series,” it is described as “a modernistic, sexually explicit Romeo and Juliet-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers who have an unbridled sexual longing for each other.” Via CNN, Thorne claimed that initially set out to make a “Christmas-themed horror movie” but eventually wound up with  “a beautiful, ethereal film."

Here is more, ahem, plot description, from the press release:

[The film] depicts an edgy twenty-something guy who stumbles upon a surprise text in his girlfriend's phone, interrupting their morning routine and spinning everything into an out-of-control sexually charged encounter.

CNN also quotes Thorne crediting PornHub for being willing to financially support her vision for the film, noting that “people are kind of scared to make a movie like this one when it comes to dominance and submissive(ness) between a male and a female and how this relationship can turn quite sour."

While one assumes a movie made by Pornhub will eventually wind up on Pornhub, “Her & Him” will screen at the Odenburg Film Festival in Germany from Sept. 11 to Sept. 15.
